As an avid music listener and creator, I spend a lot of time listening to music. Although I love an enjoy a good pair of headphones, there's nothing quite like rocking out to some good speakers. While bluetooth speakers suffice for listening to everyday music, I'd much rather listen using my studio speakers. I have a pair of M-Audio AV30s. Here are 3 benefits I've noticed using these speakers:
Sound Distribution. I've owned/listened to quite a few pair of headphones and nothing sound quite like studio monitors. Most headphones are tuned to enhance a certain sound and even studio headphones can be misleading because the sound is concentrated. Using studio speakers correctly allows the sound to be distributed clearly and equally. When placed correctly, studio speakers create a sound that seems to fill the room to create a unique listening experience.
Sound Quality. Even though I have a lower end version of studio speakers, I can hear a huge difference between these speakers and my headphones. Using these speakers I've heard sound that barely come through headphones. The sound is equal, balanced, and contains amazing quality.
Powerful. Sharing music with headphones is a great way to share the song. However sharing a music experience through studio speakers creates an amazing experience. It allows the listeners to become emerged in sound. These things pack a powerful punch, and if they are place correctly, are sure to give you a completely different listening experience.
